As long as there is only one monk, it really isn't that hard. The main thing to remember is that serpents quickness affects sliver armor too (see the new section labeled serpents quickness under the usage section), and it can be maintained a majority of the time. The main problem is the warriors, who have 100+ armor and are the priority of sliver armor. Once they're down its fine. Another trick is to poison everyone and confuse the monks on who to heal.

Yes, that could work. Another option is to enter battle in the storm chaser stage (if they strip that it's fine) and kill them with sliver armor before you need to use serpents quickness again.

The idea of the forest is to aggro as many as you can and kill as many as you can. Like you said, with armor of earth+stoneflesh tanking is easy, and I agree the the damage is the hard part. The trick is to keep aggroing more and to never try to kill everything in the group. Eventually you will get to the tower of strength and hopefully be able to solo that too.

Yeah. I managed to kill a group of spiders or two using the previous factions/prophecies only build, using conflag. Using well timed stone daggers it worked for a little while until they interrupted obsidian flesh and I lost kinetic.

Would that apply to savage shot? With the new build I attempted the forest, and failed at the spiders. I'm not sure what I was using, galigord's staff or this longbow of enchanting I have. I'll see if I could try again.

A trick my buddy KCP use to do back in the day was to use malstorm to keep the monks from healing. I'm not sure if this would work good anymore, but it's worth a shot. Someone try it. lol

hmm, I don't know if the monks would run away from that. Only thing to get to know that is to try I guess, like you said. Then again, 25 energy is a bit much. But if it works, you could definatly take on more groups in FoW.

Oh, and if it's true that spiders only interrupt wielders of caster weapons, that would be great! I was wielding a +5e 20% ench weapon anyway but I haven't tried to take on spiders. (The first time I tried this build I went to the aviacara outside droks wielding the totem axe + shield, but they used savage slash on me so I don't know if spiders do this also).

I think that spiders will use savage shot even if you are not wielding caster weapons BECAUSE while farming spiders at the spider cave with my assassin i saw them many times trying to interrupt my Shadow Form...so i think that it doesn't matter what weapon you use,they will still try to interrupt you =P

^ correct

Same goes for rock borer worms, it doesn't matter if you have a melee weapon/shield equipped, if you attempt to cast a spell they will try to interrupt it.

what i was saying was that the build pretty obviously points out what you need, but i forgot sliver was factions. you would have a hard time getting the damage you need without it.

ok. im having problems

i get into FoW and start tanking the first grop of shadow army(to the right) but the shadow beast always runs straight to the eternal guy, and if i go over to him o try to kill him with sliver armor the warrior starts attacking the eternal guy to. eventually he dies and it sends me back to ToA. what am i doing wrong?

Go forward from where you start, make a right, and aggro them from an angle, like in the video. Rastigan should NEVER be in your aggro circle when you aggro the enemies.

Anyone else takin a lot of damage from the hydras' inferno spell? i got stoneflesh+ob. armor+stone striker(for geomancer armor) and am still takin like 64 damage from each inferno.

I take like 9 dmg with armor of earth + stoneflesh+obs flesh (i have tempest armor)

Without armor of earth they deal huge amounts of damage and unguent must be kept up constantly, however with armor of earth its not threat.

Also, now that they removed evasion, griffons sweep from the shadow warriors will knock you down with sliver armor however its no serious threat.

Hmmm...I'm lacking the skill Serpent's Quickness. Is there any sort of skill that could replace it? Other than that I can make this build, which looks really good btw
